The fact is that that gross stuff *was* posted here (no matter how fast it was deleted) and this *is* treated as a location to preserve and start that kind of shit in a way that is more public than an anon ask. The instant hands-off "whoa whoa there's no WAY that had anything to do with US, we're FINE, there are people who are FAR nastier than us" is ... pretty defensive.
