There was that fic recently where Duper's secret power was being able to tell when people were pregnant. It didn't go at all in the direction I wanted to go, which is that he's obviously used to noticing pregnant women, but then Sid starts giving off that same familiar glow.

I think I'm just pining for the days when mpreg wasn't an in-universe commonplace, and instead required an actual plot reason. Someday I'm gonna finish that urban fantasy fic where Sid gets cursed. *sigh*
