Tbh when I was younger I used to be really snotty about knowing all the states, and then I got older and realized there are SO many of them, and knowing exactly where they are isn't exactly relevant most of the time (it's usually ok to swap Mississippi and Alabama, or not know the tiny ones) and I chilled out about it.
