#23 — Brown Goes Down

Given the last eight long, miserable years he has been publicly stanning for the Leafs, it's hard to begrudge him that.

Uh, it's very easy to begrudge him that since Leafs fandom have been acting like the first overall is theirs by right since last summer.

Also the way that Leafs fandom acts like they're the center of the hockey universe and that everyone else can suck it.

My team's in the west and barely plays the Leafs, and I don't normally dislike bottom-feeders, but fuck do I hate the Leafs. And it's entirely because of their goddamn entitled fans.

Or in a country full of Steve Dangles. I live in Western Canada and I'm surrounded by Leafs fans.

Well, most of them were fans of the Leafs before any of the other Canadian teams (except the Habs) existed. Or their parents were Leafs fans so they grew up as Leafs fans. I do know a decent number of Flames and Jets fans, too, but Leafs fans are the overwhelming majority.

I have found listening to SDP is a lot better on 1.5 speed. But yeah, he's going to be extra obnoxious now.

Yeah I used to listen to SDP on 1.5 speed too... eventually even that wore me out and I can't stand it at all anymore lol.
