No one is saying there was no one hating on the Sutter fics a year ago. The grudge accusation comes from people who apparently still can't let it go, 9 months after the guy was traded.

This seemed overly aggressive to me, for a work that hasn't even had its author revealed:

What do you expect? It's downjune. Of course the characterization is nothing at all like the players she's actually writing about.

You can tell it's her because she updated the posted on date twice to get her fic on the first page of the hockey tag. She's done it before. People who do it strike me as so desperate.

Won't we all feel silly if the reveals happen and it turns out it's not even downjune?

Does she actually update the posted on date a lot? I don't check the hockey rpf tag that much, but I check character and pairing tags a lot, and I've never noticed this. Usually when I'm surprised to see her fic back at the top of the list, it's because she's updated it extraordinarily quickly.

Sometimes it's best not to try to understand meme wanks. You just have to sit back and go along for the ride.

I have to say, that tentacles discussion in the Fandom Venting thread went *cough* swimmingly.

I LOLed, but at the same time, I think I am kind of into hair washing as a kink, so. :/ I just like one character showing their admiration and love for another by serving them in various ways, and hair washing falls under that. Plus sensual petting and scalp massages.

Some other players, you could swear the hair gel is the source of their powers. Seems plausible.

They anoint themselves with hair gel for health and protection. Some of them need more than others.

Many hair gels died to bring us this Cup.

It's a helmet under their helmet, for extra protection.

Haha, well, I was maybe half hoping that we actually would end up with a hair washing thread because I might also enjoy it. Or any kind of bathing/shaving/grooming type of caring for another person that has that sort of pseudo body worship element to it.

Also, lbr, there are a lot of players who could stand a good hair washing. And then for someone to ban them from ever using or even thinking about hair gel ever again.

I really like shaving too, now that you mention it. Both face shaving, which automatically translates to trust and emotional intimacy for me, and pube shaving, which is just about sexy sensations and the smoothness after. Is there any consolatory playoff beard shaving between two players after their team gets knocked out? I feel like there should be some.
