Is Jagr like a third-rate landmark, then? Once you've been once there's no point in ever going back? Poor guy, repeat performances can be the most fun.

I would read the hell out of a fic about sad Jagr who secretly wants a relationship, but all the people just want to have sex with him once to say they did Jagr.

Now I really want a fic with some sort of Czech conspiracy to steal Claude away from Canada.

He should go somewhere all his talents are appreciated, you know?

It makes a certain amount of sense. There's even 3 Czechs on the Flyers roster, so they can work together to convince him. Whatever that entails.

Lol, wasn't there a Finnish conspiracy to get Jake Virtanen from the Canadians around the WJC? Happy to see "Take the precious from Canada, give them to Europe (with boners)" is a consistent meme mentality.

Hey, if Canada doesn't appreciate what it's got...

I don't remember the Finnish conspiracy. I mostly remember the comments after the fact about the Finnish team making Virtanen regret his decision, which was a very nice conversation. IIRC there was even a nice little detour about sex tears, which is always a crowd-pleaser.
