The Crosby and Daley celebration hug is EVERYTHING

Fans of my team are too cynical and broken to act like the team is god's gift to hockey/the world. I'll have to have a talk with them and work on that. Hmmm.

Yo Stars nonnie(s?) fond of Daley, he did awesome for us tonight - he played a team-high 28 minutes and got a goal. And we got a great goal hug out of th game, too:

Re: Random Thread

I remember once seeing a comment where someone had signed up for it in Yuletide not knowing there was that new version with the teenage girl and thinking of the old one with the little girl, and then they were really surprised when they read their Dear Author letter and the person was expecting incest.

Re: Random Thread

It's not a big fandom, if you click through to the tag. But yeah, it exists. And some people use "Folgers" as code for incest these days.

Thank you so much for bringing this into my life. I laughed so hard I woke the dog. She's judging me so hard right now.

Re: Hockey Articles/Media

From: (Anonymous)
I keep learning that players have friends on the other team/organization and I don't know why I'm surprised. But petty things like "refusing to text each other while your team is playing mine" amuse me endlessly.

Oh, Kevin <3.

So Holtby's a little pissed with his teammates, and I don't blame him.

Braden Holtby, asked if the #caps played their game tonight: "It's not my job to comment on. I stop the puck."

Re: Random Thread

What! I was also thinking of the one with the little girl. And I was like, "okay, fandom." And this one makes more sense though!

This thread is an example of how hockey can double as innuendo.

Eh, that Daley goal he let in was pretty bad. He hasn't been the problem, but he hasn't stolen a game like Murray has either.

28 minutes. That's. Wow. How did that happen?

I'm so happy for him, though! At least this is a super bright spot compared to yesterday's game.

Daley picked up a significant portion of Letang's minutes.

The Caps had regular season games against both the Flyers and the Pens that were much nastier than any of the Pens/Flyers games (most of which were pretty important to both teams, since they were both fighting to make the playoffs).

Finally finished watching this since I was working...probably would have been better off just deleting it from the DVR, it would have saved me the heartache and tears

I can't deny Russell's been great for us but I still feel really fond of Kevin. I'm glad he's doing ok over there, even if he has to deal with country music lol

This is still happening. :c

Dales leaping into his captain's arms is the content I'm here for. Thanks, nonny. There's definitely more than one of us :)

I'm confused now bc I don't recall ever seeing the one that just got posted before. Unless I just missed it somehow when Tamidan originally posted it.

Please direct all of this hate towards the Canucks next season.

Na

I've gone down a Dales rabbit hole, reminiscing about how he used to kiss Turco's helmet, etc

By the by, if anyone is like me and enjoys taking silly old-school internet educational quizzes and wants to improve their geography knowledge (of any region - find out which tiny island nation in Oceania is which today!), I'm bizarrely fond of these - http://www.sheppardsoftware.com/Geography.htm . These are also fun - http://lizardpoint.com/geography/index.php .

Re: Fic Finder

From: (Anonymous)
I'm at work so I can't search my computer, but IIRC it was a multixgaptered fic, a collection of fics or something. I'll take a look tonight if I remember, nonnie, but in the meantime I hope this helps!
