And she has nearly 9000 followers of her own. She's not posting anything to there that she doesn't want to be known to fans.

As Coach Sullivan said after the last game: "It's hard not to love this guy. ...We love him." Everyone's horny for Horny and his hot bod!

ayrt

I skimmed it and it does seem to, to me at least.

Re: Ask Meme

I swear I read somewhere that Denis has like a real job and maybe a family?? And that that makes it hard to visit (combined, I imagine, with the fact that visiting from Russia isn't really like popping down to Pittsburgh from Toronto for a quick visit) I also think he's kind of shy. But that might be projecting.

Geno's parents visit for months at a time, I believe, and they're insanely popular with Pens fans so they get a lot more FaceTime just in general.

DA

Remember that interview his dad gave, after Geno re-signed and he was like "I'm very glad my son signed with Pittsburgh but his friend Sergei Gonchar wanted him to play with him, or if not Geno would've liked playing in New York or Montreal," and then the Stars had to issue a statement saying that no, they weren't making Gonch poach Geno, lol. Anyway that same interview had Geno's dad complaining about how Geno barely visits them in Magnitogorsk and how he doesn't call, lol aww. I'm part convinced his dad just trolled him to teach him lesson.

Re: Ask Meme

IIRC Rossi said something like Geno playing in Magnitogorsk really helped them ~repair their relationship~ but keep in mind this is Rossi so he probably framed it as more dramatic than it really is.

Also, I'm a creeper, and I found his facebook! LOL. He's friends with Elena Ilynikh!

This is an old article that just got linked on reddit, but apparently Pekka Rinne and Joe Pavelski know each other from playing in Minsk in the lock out.

Has there been any word on whether Evgeni Malkin is getting a hearing with DoPS for that head shot on Daniel Winnick last night?

Re: What's Up With Your Team? - Playoffs Round 2

From: (Anonymous)
I saw something today saying that he wasn't getting a hearing for something, so I'm guessing he isn't for whatever he did.

No hearing.

"whatever he did" was a head shot that didn't get called on ice.

I didn't watch the game so that's the first replay I've seen, and while I do think Malkin plays dirty, I don't consider that a headshot.

The picture is not really that embarrassing, but I did laugh at the caption.

That's not a headshot, and this is incredibly *eye rolls*

AYRT Thanks. huh. I guess I shouldn't be surprised at anything any more.

Not even r/caps thought that was discipline worthy.

Malkin is 6'3". He's really tall. And his skates didn't leave the ice until after the hit took place.

I'm kind of tempted to make a fest focusing on Finnish players. It probably wouldn't be for awhile, given playoffs and real life stuff. I'm not sure what the level of interest would be, though. I'm fond of Finns in general, so I feel like my perspective might be a bit skewed.

I was thinking about this the other night after the Boyle hit before his goal - and to draw an analogy to another sport that hasn't been overused yet - it's got to be a bit like the handball rule in soccer, particularly for tall guys.

At some point, a shoulder is going to run into someone else's head, but the "good" checkers are the ones who are making their arms as much as part of their chest as possible at contact, vs. the other extreme of sending one's elbow directly into someone else's skull.

Re: Fandom Goggles

From: (Anonymous)
I mean, Connor was probably looking over his shoulder as Dylan went through his phone like, "No... no... NO... alright."

Re: Exchanges, Events, Etc.

I am, but I am also really sad at fests where it's less than a dozen people

AYRT Roll your eyes all you want to because I used the wrong word? Term? Whatever. Sorry I get those things wrong sometimes.

But if you're rolling your eyes because think it's perfectly fine for him to slam his shoulder into another guy's head, then I don't even know what to say.

Malkin's elbow was tucked throughout contact?

I'm rolling my eyes at how much of a homer you are.
