yeah, it's ok. The writing is quite nice in the individual scenes but it feels very jumpy as far as character/plot development goes. And the misunderstanding is the kind that retroactively sucks all the tension and conflict out of the story once it's been revealed (which is often the case with misunderstanding plots)
