I think one of the other guys would probably pick up the St. Louis arm of it (I think Petro and Shatty are fairly involved? Although Shatty may not be there next year, either...) or they probably have local volunteers to help out with things. Or the team itself might keep things up, since there are a lot of pet owners and it's become sort of ingrained at this point, along with things like the children's hospital visits and all of the children's charity work that Steener does. I think A4A itself would be reasonably easy to move with them and run from wherever they end up, since afaik it's mostly based online and then partnered with one of the local rescues.

Or Backes can just fly in to save animals in his free time.
