I read this and enjoyed it, BUT I also thought it was basically Sid!whump and over-the-top sexuality angst and I like a lot of icehot's stuff so it's not like I'm an especially demanding consumer. Also it started dragging towards the end.
I'm iffy on Oksana's presence, although I'm not 100% sure I agree with the yenta deal. (I *was* happy to see she's got a dude who's good to her and we get some hints she has a life beyond talking to geno, but she sometimes felt like a plot device and only sometimes felt like a full-blown character.)
Jen Bullano is a badass (And if they’re rude, I’ll kick them in the balls,” she finishes, startling a soggy laugh out of Zhenya.) and I liked Flower, but if you like supportive teams this is NOT the fic you want to read imo.
