I also loved it but god do I wish the author would get a (better?) beta. The consistent lack of apostrophes drives me insane.

The main character is one of those guys, so definitely. I have an idea for who to use if I have to make up a pairing, but I'm going to wait until training camp starts to start writing. Maybe he'll acquire a roommate and make it easy on me, lol.

Ovi mentioned how weird it was to be sitting so close to Sid's stall lmao. I suppose Team Canada will get the home dressing room at Consol (since they're getting the home bench), which will be even weirder for Giroux, lol I can't wait.

Geno also said he hasn't seen Nikita in 3 weeks :( but that there is a baby in cup pic, and "maybe" he'll show it someday.

A fun read, no "omg foreign country so weird haha" stuff, some amusing bits, and I really appreciated his thoughtfulness about the prospect of growing the game in China and just his first encounter with Chinese culture in general.

Definitely not 100% accurate.

I thought he looked closer than many of the others! At least he has distinctive scruff in a somewhat grayish brown.

(But, yes, his skate laces need to be yellow.)

I think the Ovi one looks very much like him, within their style, of course. But if you took off the jerseys and told me one was Ovechkin and asked me to pick him out, I could do it. I'm kind of jealous they are doing two Ovies and not a single player from my team.

Crosby's the one that I find most generic. I don't think they really got his hairstyle. And they made McDavid's hair too yellow.

I think they got Kane okay, and to be honest, I have no idea what Morgan Reilly looks like.

I noticed all the rest of them have plain black circles for eyes, but Stamkos got the bedroom eyes. What's that about?
