Huh, that's interesting. Yahoo really seems to be pushing the keeper thing this season, so I guess they did reserve the rosters of the deleted teams and just give them to new GMs, in case we decide at the last minute to do keepers.

I'd ignore that roster--or use it to remind you of anyone you might have otherwise forgotten to rank!

It really sucks. Last season, I wound up with too many pure centers (who were all fantastic so hard to let go via waivers and I could find no trade partners) and sat them more nights than I care to remember. I swore I'd never make that mistake again--and now Yahoo is forcing me to! Ptooey, Yahoo!

I feel like some great Gaudreau/McDavid fic could come out of this. What with McDavid being McJesus and the world singing his praises and Gaudreau can't even get a contract signed and people, you know, just talk about small he is and forget he was 6th in the league in points this season. And McDavid is great but you know. Gaudreau still has the 4th most points in the World Cup and Canada has played a game more than NA. He tied for first in points in the prelims.. And yeah, maybe McDavid's a better player than him, but like.. When a player's primary job is to score points and one scores 9 points over the course of a tournament and one scores 3 and you never hear about the guy who scores 9 except for in the highlight reel..

Might could piss a dude off and make some grudge sex happen, is all I'm saying.

Clearly I need to go follow this precious child on twitter right now.
