#26 — Vanek! with a Jurco

This is the twenty-sixth post of Deke Dangle RPF Anon, a community for all your ice hockey anon meme needs.

THE RULES

3. Respect flock. Do not repost or share information from private tumblrs, locked twitter accounts, flocked LJ posts, etc.
4. No linking fans to their real life identities.
5. No looks bashing or body shaming. This applies to players and people associated with those players and their clubs, as well as fellow fans.

7. No embedded images.
8. No spamming the meme, whether through repeated comments or other means. 
9. No discussing trolling, individual trolls, or their efforts.

I just want a bunch of Team Europe fic in general. Although, I would definitely enjoy some Kopitar/Gaborik fic or even just Captain Kopitar's gen hijinks. The captains can get together and powwow.

I always want more Marchand/Bergeron fic. Is Seguin going to be healthy in time to go? Because then I could have Marchand/Seguin reunion sex, tooooo.

So there seemed to me some enthusiasm for a fest of some sort. How about something with four elements:
1) WIP me good -Get those WIPs finished.
2) Fill me up - Work on some fills, new post old post whatever takes your fancy. It might be good if there was a delay in fills being posted to AO3 to encourage people to check the kinkmeme for the newest fills and not wait until they show up on the tag.
3) Tell me what you want - Prompting some new ideas which hopefully inspire people.
4) Let me hear you - comment on the kinkmeme for fills and or prompts you like.

People could comment back to say when they have filled thinks or posted part of their WIP for extra encouragement?

Me personally, I'd probably concentrate on the Sheary/Cullen one as you worked on it most recently. But I tend to work on one thing at a time, maybe you would prefer to do a part on each?

I was talking to a friend who plays in a local beer league, and some of them are actually planning to go to the WCoH because apparently tickets for some of the less popular games are going for like $10-20 a pop. Does anyone know why this is? I kind of gave up on the idea of going because I assumed that all of the tickets would be going for full-price because of how hockey-crazy Toronto is, but this news is giving me ideas.

Why the games are less popular? The World Cup of Hockey isn't a big tourist draw that people from around the world are traveling to. Most locals are going to cheer for Team Canada or Team North America and want to watch those games.

Some GM could go insane and do a ridiculous offer sheet that Edmonton won't/can't match? I mean, nobody offer sheets because offer sheets basically mean no one will ever trade with you again, but they are a thing.
