Eh. It's not terrible and that's apparently where the bar is set for me currently (I accidentally read the first 5 paragraphs of the amputee AU and that was really, really too close to home for me to handle (read the tags, holy shit it was my own fault I ended up there, but really self. mind the tags)). And the tampering made me laugh because while I'm not naive enough to believe it doesn't happen in the NHL. But I sure hope actual NHL GMs are a little more subtle about it than PKane is in the story.
