Every year I hope r/hockey will finally get over their annual EA Sports NHL player ratings wank fest, and every year I am disappointed. I agree that some of the overalls are BS, but it really, really does not matter.

Also the overall is less of an indicator of being the best than they seem to think it is. I'm not saying it isn't an indicator at all, it's just not the whole picture.
