Oviposition is my favorite thing about tentacles, for sure. However, they can also be fun for setting up particular emotional scenarios, like xeno/exploration of unexpected anatomy, shame/comfort ("I know they're super weird, right?" / "Are you kidding, I love them"), that kind of thing.
