Okay, my request is not as creepy as it sounds. But I'm busy writing for am exchange and need to do some fact checking without being caught out. Research indicates that Tom W's parents are Keven and Neville, right? Ive only found two articles so I just wanted to check. My beta said I need to vary on using Tom's mom the whole time and I agree.

I am still sad about PK and Carey getting separated, so on the *business* side is there any chance that Nashville could afford Carey when he goes UFA?

Rinne is signed for one year longer at a high dollar amount, but even ignoring that, I don't see Poile ever dumping those kinds of dollars on a goaltender again, Nashville does have a decent replacement in the pipeline, and a UFA of Price's stature isn't coming to Nashville.

Relevant to backstory of a Nick Leddy-centric fic I am working on. I know he played in the Minnesota statewide elite league, but I don't know a lot about how that actually works. Anyone who knows more details please share?

Do you have some more information?? I thought he just played for Eden Prairie all 4 years - despite being drafted by the USHL and having the option to go to NTDP.

I may have blanked this out, but just to check:

- where was PK before the trade happened? I think I read he flew back in from vacation after it was done, can someone help me find information confirming/ruling that out? (Andif he was on vacation, would be good to know where :) )

- what kind of car does Carey usually drive?

I believe PK was in Europe when the trade broke; two days before on the 27th he flew to Paris, and by the 5th he was in Croatia, so he was traveling around the continent quite a bit.

Just double checking: is it true that Brayden Schenn lived in an apartment with his brother Luke last season until he got traded? Is he living alone now (or did he after January at least)?

Does anyone have any fun facts about Devante Smith-Pelly? I've looked up basic biographical stuff, but all I really know otherwise is that he was in the Habs boy band and he was really really sad when he got traded to NJ. I just wanna know general character stuff, fun social media things, what kind of guy he is in the locker room, beautiful hockey highlights, etc.

Are there any NHWL players that came from NCAA DIII or ACHA DI (high level club hockey), or just anything other than NCAA DI hockey? I feel like there were at least a few D3ers last year but I'm not certain.

Why do players in other sports, specifically American football, retire earlier than hockey players do? I feel like I've heard a lot about football players retiring while they're still good. Is it because football takes a harder physical toll? Because football players get paid more and can afford to retire earlier? Is it something to do with the culture?

Does Jack Eichel have any experience as a captain? Obviously he was only ever a frosh at BU, so I'm assuming not there, but what about the NDTP or team USA any time?

I've just been curious because he is obviously good with his teammates, at least based on the funny videos we've been seeing. He also seems good with the media - every team NA article has multiple quotes from him despite being one of the youngest and least experienced on the team. And they seem like they are well thought out, intelligent responses, not just cliches like athletes' interviews so often are.

I don't follow the Sabres so idk if this is typical for him, but if it is and if he has any ounce of leadership quality I could definitely see him becoming an NHL captain some day. He's just really impressed me the last few days!

I've found myself thinking about locker room dynamics lately. We hear a lot about the divided or otherwise dysfunctional locker rooms -- the Wild, the Canadiens, etc. But are there teams whose locker rooms seem particularly functional? What teams would you say, based on what we know from the beats, etc., tend to have a greater degree of harmony than average?
