I also want this, so.

Well, what I want is for the team to keep Price and Galchenyuk and jettison Therrien and Bergevin, but that's not going to happen, so I want Chucky and Price to leave town instead.

Maybe when Galchenyuk is an RFA after this season they'll think he's "too greedy" and they'll let him walk after being pissy and terrible about it? Maybe Price won't sign with them again? Only two more years... :|

I cling to these hopes, lol. I would throw a party if that wasn't necessary because they fired Therrien and Bergevin but knowing our luck they'd just hire equally terrible people if they actually did.

Yeah, that's my hope, that the bridge deal for Chucky will bite them in the ass big time, and that Price gets sick of their bullshit and walks. He has to want a cup, and he has to know that these guys have no idea how to win one. ("Chicago culture" my ass. Know what Chicago did? Kept their best players.)

When I read that "Chicago culture" comment it just made me even more certain that these people have no idea what they're doing, just kind of "going with their gut" or whatever they want to call it and then think success will come to them because of how "real and practical" they are.

I'm really curious how the team will play with Price back in the line-up and whether he can mask their lack of direction again.

This phrase "Chicago culture" just seems SO unfortunate to me given what's actually happened with the Hawks in the last year. Kane, Shaw, that one prospect's revenge porn - that's the culture you want? Really really? Then screw you, buddy.

Ugh, I was so angry about the Subban trade that I forgot all about how angry I was about the Shaw trade. NOTHING ABOUT THIS SEASON IS MAKING ME HAPPY. BURN IT ALL TO THE GROUND.

Hey, I started this past season with the Habs as one of my teams and now I'm "burn it all down (but get Price and Galchenyuk out first)" too.

Nonnies who actually follow the business side, any chance that Carey could end up in Nashville as a UFA in a couple of years? I just want real-world triple-low-fives to be a thing again.
