This is the twenty-sixth post of Deke Dangle RPF Anon, a community for all your ice hockey anon meme needs.

THE RULES

Isn't that the worst?

What works for me is just writing anyway. The first hundred words are always garbage, but the stuff after that is usually usable.

Part of the problem is that I started writing it awhile ago (and it's all garbáge, oops) before I realized that I actually need to do research, but now that I have all the necessary knowledge, it's like I've lost the pulse of the story. I know writing is the best way to remind myself why I wanted to write it in the first place, but whining is so much easier.

The whining is an important first step!
