#26 — Vanek! with a Jurco

Thanks for all your work putting this together! My internet is dreadfully slow so it's nice to have a link directly to the images/media, but to know where they came from and be able to find the original tweet/post if I want.

I loved that he insisted on sneaking the cup in through the Zamboni door and keeping crouched down so the kids wouldn't see the cup and have the surprise be ruined (when it was so totally obviously the kids were gonna get time with the cup after the cup day was announced on the hockey school twitter, lol).

I cannot wait for the Matt Murray edition of this. It must be fairly temperate in Thunder Bay, because in all his photos, including outside, he in black head to ankle, including long sleeves with the neck zipped up to the top. And then beige canvas shoes.

Not to my knowledge, no. He definitely had Crosby posters up though. And he has a picture of him and Crosby when they met at an airport when Crosby was 15 and MacKinnon was...younger.

Math suggests that MacKinnon was 7-8ish?

Yeah, I couldn't remember his age off the top of my head. I always think he's older because of how long he's played.
