This is the twenty-sixth post of Deke Dangle RPF Anon, a community for all your ice hockey anon meme needs.

THE RULES

Idk. I'm glad something's happening, but this seems so small compared to what he did.

It's frustrating that out of everything he did, this is what he gets charged with. But meme also talked about what charges could or couldn't plausibly be brought against him, based on technicalities of the law, and a criminal trespass charge (for what he actually did) seems to me like maybe they thought they couldn't stick him with the charges he deserved, so they found something criminal to charge him with.

This person from Channel 4 seems to have a bit more details:

@nalinashapiro4: #BreakingNews @evanderkane_9 turned himself in, charged w/1 misdemeanor, 4 harassment violations. Sources say pictures in bar are evidence

So at least a bit more than just trespassing?

I think the 4 harassment violations are the non-criminal charges we already heard about.

If there's four, though, that might mean the third woman came forward. Maybe more charges will follow.

Maybe. Arresting him for misdemeanor trespassing (i.e., refusing to leave the bar) to me suggests they're probably hoping to get him for real on something else. But it doesn't change the sort of ridiculous face of the fact that there are witnesses and video of him doing terrible things, and this is what he gets arrested for (not the harassment violations).
