God help me I actually really like Jake and David. As individual characters and as a pairing. I think out of all of her stories, theirs is the only one I'm super invested in, like I really need them to get the happy ending.

I like Robbie and Georgie too actually, again both separate and together. And Oleg, Derek, Andy, and the best bros.

Not a fan of Marc/Dan or Mike/Liam. I didn't read the Vinny one because it seemed too much like issue fic about a flailing baby deer and that's not my speed.

I almost want to write fanfic about Jake and David, yikes. Though I probably won't.

God, I do not get the appeal of Vinny at fucking all. I liked Fournier though, and Carmen.

Kiro is basically Russian Carmen.

I like Carmen too. An actual story for Carmen + Sylvie would be ok with me.

Agreed. What I really want is a realistic look at how that works. In RL there's a heap of fraternization rules but I'm also sure player/staff relationships happen. Rules or not I've never worked anywhere that doesn't feature at least one coworker couple (vaguely I think Ryan Whitney dated someone who works for the Panthers?? This may be information that exists only in my brain but I feel like I remember reading about it)

I've definitely seen tweets or whatever about staff members dating or getting married, and I remember a Panthers AGM is married to a former Panthers reporter. It doesn't get reported on but I bet it happens.

I was really invested in Vinny. And really dissatisfied with his ending.

+1 Vinny was my fav.

Same, his story was my favourite probably, before it started getting bland because she didn't resolve anything...

I really like both Jake and David too. I might be devastated if they don't at least have an optimistic ending in the end (THANKFULLY, one of the more recent kickstarter stories have me feeling quite optimistic on that front, which made me feel better after the last update which I hated).

I liked Robbie at the start, but he's getting on my nerves now. At the same time, I'm liking Georgie more (and I wish that the POV of that story was flipped, tbh).

I feel like I should like Vinny so much more than I do because if I'm being honest, my personality irl is very similar to his (minus the asexuality) but I hated the supporting casts. If my friends/coworkers/whatever treated me the way his did, I would snap and take someone's head off.

+1 Maybe I'd still like Robbie if his story wasn't moving so extremely slowly and there was actually some development.

A lot of the issues with Robbie come from her pacing. It seems worse than before.

i'm also not a fan of mike/liam OR vinny and i always felt like i was the only one, so i'm glad to read this comment!
