I'll probably never have the time or energy to write it myself, but I've always been intrigued by the possibility of Sidney Crosby/Zach Parise. I want teen!Sid having an inappropriate crush on the hot college-aged son of his high school hockey coach, whose family he regularly had dinner with! And then once you get to Vancouver, with Zach's tying goal sending USA/CAN to OT, and Sid's OT goal crushing USA's hopes...there's potential there, is what I'm saying.
