Petro and Parayko used to play together on the 2nd powerplay unit before the Shattenkirk trade. There were frustrating times when he'd hardly pass to Colton even when he was open. But Colt honestly doesn't shoot enough still so maybe there was a reason for that? (Petro has been promoted to 1st PP now.) The two of them occasionally end up on the ice together in late-game situations too, but the Blues are pretty rigid about having LD-RD pairs out there most of the time.
The team usually calls Parayko 'Pary' and Perron 'Perrs' but it's not that consistent. (In some post-games, Perron gets called Perry too. It drives me nutty.)
And, yeah, Colton Parayko's degree is in business administration!
On the subject of Pietrangelo, I would super love fic about him. He makes the worst dad jokes all the time, which is very much the way to my heart. David Backes used to joke about him never shutting up, but I think that's just Petro's ADD. He's apparently one of the most active guys on the bench during games - always giving feedback to the guys on the ice, like an extra coach.
