Yeah, I have a lot of complicated feelings on this situation. As a queer person, I personally don't feel cocksucker is as bad as f*gg*t, but at the same time, I know lots of LBGTQ folk feel differently, and I don't like the idea of someone who's probably straight making the decision that it isn't as bad.
Also, I'd definitely prefer a suspension over a fine, regardless of the amount fined. To me, a suspension sends a message of "if you can't be respectful, you don't get to play" much better than giving money to make up for being homophobic.
