Honestly, they're not fancy? They have a sheath, they're large, they're attached to horses. Not too many bells and whistles. As someone who used to have horses, I find the idea of fictional people fucking horses ludicrously unsexy to the point of hysterical, but that's just me. Kinks and tomatoes, etc.
