I think it's ok to say something but I would use a more educational tone than a reprimanding one since a lot of people just don't know that it's bad and it's a fairly easy fix to change it to a synonym.

I would probably not personally engage because I get anxious about anything that might cause an argument, but I think there are people who are receptive and would want to know they should correct it.
