#29 – Lay, Lie, or Laine?

This is the twenty-ninth post of Deke Dangle RPF Anon, a community for all your ice hockey anon meme needs.

THE RULES

I feel like if I have to see one more thread on reddit about how the Leafs this year are the most incredibly improved, deserving, amazing playoff team since the beginning of hockey and "has anyone else ever done this?!?!", I'll have to punch my screen.

RES filters, friend. I just went in and filtered out "leafs" "maple leafs" "toronto" "toronto maple leafs" "matthews" "marner" "babcock"

I'll take it all off after they get swept but for now it's very peaceful.

I should really do that because I've reached a point where even seeing the headline makes me mad, lol.

How can a fanbase of a team that sucked ass recently as last year, be this cocky?!

I want to reddit to avoid the Leafs but nope in the front page. What piss me off the most is how some of their fan base treat low market team as a joke. When they're most important rookie wouldn't be playing hockey if not for the NHL expansion into lower market. I want to see them crash so bad. Not going to happen. They'll most likely make it a series vs the Sens.

I feel your pain. :( Everyone being so gleeful about teams relocating seems so mean, and I guess I'm a little thin skinned because that's mostly my team they're hating! Just staying in the north or in Canada won't really help the NHL.

It annoys the crap out of me as an American, and my team isn't even one of the ones that ever comes up. Like, no, actually, being willing to spend a lot of money on a losing team doesn't make your city more "deserving" of jack all.
