#29 – Lay, Lie, or Laine?

It's PP/G, not just points. So more games would need more points too to keep his points ratio above Draisaitl's.

This was what I was thinking. Especially an ankle sprain which are hard to heal. His sh% wasn't absurdly high, it's pretty likely he would have been ppg.

Since Leon beat Jack in ppg so I think it's only fair he gets McDavid as his victory prize.

I'd still prefer it if Drai got both the schedule B bonus & McDavid. Leon can use the money to buy Connor something pretty.

totally down for this scenario and more mcdrai in general.

(that "yeah, i'm going to fight for my totally unperturbed winger" vid and them in general got me shipping ANOTHER rarepair, thanks ever so much meme.)

New rarepairs to ship are the best! Though the lack of fic does make it a tad frustrating in the long run. Personally, when I've read all the content there is in the ship tag, I start looking for another rarepair to ship as well.

That vid is the best! Drai is such a beast physically that he wasn't even inconvenienced, either by the hook beforehand or the interference (or was it a crosscheck?) that got McJesus so fired up. My favorite McDrai moment would be that jump Connor takes into Leon's arms. Or the buttslap after the 100th point for McDavid/schedule B bonus for Draisaitl.
