#29 – Lay, Lie, or Laine?

This is the twenty-ninth post of Deke Dangle RPF Anon, a community for all your ice hockey anon meme needs.

THE RULES

1. Mods retain the right to delete, freeze, and/or screen threads and comments.
2. Meme rules do not require warnings.
3. Respect flock. Do not repost or share information from private tumblrs, locked twitter accounts, flocked LJ posts, etc.
4. No linking fans to their real life identities.
5. No looks bashing or body shaming. This applies to players and people associated with those players and their clubs, as well as fellow fans.
6. No embedded music.
7. No embedded images.
8. No spamming the meme, whether through repeated comments or other means. 
9. No discussing trolling, individual trolls, or their efforts.

Rules:

- Be a male/male(/male/male/etc.) slash ship
- Have no more than 200 fics on AO3

Basically that means everything except KT, Sid/Geno, Bennguin, Brioux, Carter/Richards and Eberle/Hall are eligible in Hockey RPF.

Anyone thinking of joining? I'm currently waffling over pairings. McDavid/Draisaitl? Edmundson/Fabbri? Subban/Josi? Fleury/his stick?

Please, Fleury/the posts OTP. His stick was just a fling.

I might treat this one but not join it properly, since I've found I usually produce more fic that way and there's no pairings I feel a burning need to request. I do hope someone requests Subban/Josi, though - it's a shame that there isn't much out there yet.

+ 1 to "more Subban/Josi". There's some potentially really interesting things to play with narratively there, plus so much concentrated pretty on and off-ice. (Preds TV, you failed me by not making them go suit shopping together or something along those lines.)

I keep thinking "bonding over unrequited love" and possibly something fandom-magical-realism-definition about that recent tumblr post that just made me go "PK/Nashville OTP 5ever, they just need the ring to prove it now" where cities have avatars and Nash's likes PK and maybe matchmakes for the two of them. (failing to remember link or source material, sorry.)

Hmmmm, I'm thinking of Paul Kariya/Teemu Selanne (this ship could always use more fic), Andre Burakovsky/Nick Sörensen and Olli Maatta/Kris Letang.
