#29 – Lay, Lie, or Laine?

THE RULES

It's not thread drift when you object to something someone else says with total disregard of what their comment actually meant in context of an ongoing conversation, but ok. You can respond with irrelevant objections but that's not gonna make everyone drop the conversation they're already having to agree with your point.

Also not thread drift when someone connects your comment to the conversation you were replying to and you accuse them of missing the point and bringing it up out of nowhere, lmao.

Seriously, really, truly, actually, the fact that the discussion on the 5-on-3 is what prompted the person say, "At least the overturned goal was 100% by the book!" does not actually add any context to my objection. They're separate observations.
