If I remember correctly somebody asked them if they would ever write a f/f pairing in their massive genderswap verse and got a "hard no" back. I think they only bother to genderswap in order to write what's basically self insert fic. All of their characters act the same.

I don't know if this is symptomatic of them or hockey genderswap fic in general but I read the latest fic and then read some more, plus the tumblr snippets and I realized why I don't like about hockey genderswap fics. Writers seem to give them a whole new, unrealistic personality just because they changed the genders. I still want a realistic Sid even if Sid is a girl, does that make sense? I can't imagine any of them doing their hair and painting their nails together if they were all girls, and doling out love advice.

I think the only one I remember getting the characterization right was that Sid/Geno genderswap set in the Vancouver Olympics, but it's been a while since I read that.
