#29 – Lay, Lie, or Laine?

This is the twenty-ninth post of Deke Dangle RPF Anon, a community for all your ice hockey anon meme needs.

THE RULES

Yep. Her stories always develop like romances, but then end in whatever way she deems realistic or healthy or fresh or whatever. But in order to write a ~realistic story, she'd have to set it up differently imo. The way she does it, there's just a lack of payoff.

Yep. Luke and Nikita wasn't set up as a romance, so I was fine with them ending up apart. Ulf and the coach, less so. And Robbie and Georgie, I think, will be even more egregious. The "fresh" twist can be the infidelity, but it wasn't set up to not be a romance. Part of the story was already about them getting together. She would have had to frame it totally differently.
