From: (Anonymous)I'm not really sure if this is performance art but no, nonnie, this was not dumb. It is not common in the current era for teams to win many cups consecutively. Also, just generally speaking, I wouldn't think that a team's record much before 10 years ago would be relevant to their cup chances unless there's something truly unusual going on in management or coaching. Teams' rosters change massively over periods of even 5 years. So the Ducks' record this year is far more relevant to their chances of success in the playoffs than the number of cups the Ducks have won in their history.
