Criticism is a part of enjoyment for me. I do it with books, movies, shows and fanfic. I like to think that aspect helps me leave good comments to authors, when I can pick out details I enjoyed. (One of the most joyful sights on earth is an author whose subtle implication has been picked up on and appreciated.) But I also like to critique the aspects of things I find poor, and that leads me to meme, where I can be anon and it's easier for authors to avoid.

I don't have many friends in this fandom, as I got into it randomly, not through friends, so that's not really an option. My general guideline is that I try not to say anything I wouldn't say to the author directly if they asked me for concrit.
