This is the sixth post of Deke Dangle RPF Anon, a community for all your ice hockey anon meme needs.

THE RULES

While I understand what you're saying, I at no point said that all religions say that homosexuality is wrong. I specifically mentioned accepting households as being religious or non-religious.

No, but your thesis was religious people are more likely to self-repress than non-religious people, and then you immediately went to If you have religious beliefs saying that what you are is wrong. You treated that group as the group of all religious people in your argument.

The point that people in this thread, including you, seem to be relying on is that religious households are more likely to be homophobic than non-religious households (allowing for a lot of wiggle room in all those terms, obviously). But... you have to provide evidence for that? I mean, that might be true, but it isn't data I'm familiar with, and a quick google did not yield me anything.

If you're not religious there's no way you can have religious beliefs saying that what you are is wrong. That is a condition reserved for the religious. But you're right, maybe all those people are totally outnumbered by the devout secular homophobes. *eyeroll* You're the one arguing that homophobia is just as likely in secular families as it is in religious families. How about some receipts from you?
