#11 - Kopitar Prefers Amps That Go to Eleven

This is the eleventh post of Deke Dangle RPF Anon, a community for all your ice hockey anon meme needs.

THE RULES

LMAO This, nonnie, is making me want some anthropomorphic fic.

"Hey, Chi. Go suck the ice," Mimmy yells across the quad.

Chi turns from where he was giving Louis a wedgie. "Who are you, again?" he asks in bewilderment. Louis stops screaming long enough to shrug over his shoulder.

Meanwhile another fight between Phil and Burger breaks out on the lawn. Nobody blinks an eye, because it happens basically every time they see each other, except that sad kid Col who wears the oversized blue jacket all the time.

"I just want senpai to notice me," he wails as he throws a book at the duo trying to scratch each others eyes out. LA pats him gently on the head when Burger doesn't even look up, too busy trying to draw blood.

"Keep trying, kiddo," LA says, proudly flashing the many pins on his jacket. "You'll get there."

I've read that one kinkmeme fic where they all hang out in a bar, and I second wanting more anthro!fic. We've already got a canonical ship for that, LA/Lumbus.

God, I want it all. There's the kink meme fill, and a couple of LA/Lumbus ones on AO3, one of them that has some other background pairings that are basically all rivalry pairings (Boston/Montreal, Philly/Pittsburgh, and Chicago/Detroit/Vancouver).

I'm into that one with Phil and Penny, and am now wondering what that asshole did to make her cry. And I want Bobbi and Marcel to get back together. I'm sad there was no resolution for those ships, except "Marcel has a new girlfriend."

I agree that it's not great, but fandom is lacking in anthro fic so I'll take what I can get. And overall high school fics make me cringe, but I'm a hatesex gal so I'm into whatever hatesex might be happening in the background there.

Plus, you know, Pens and Flyers.

Very tangentially related, when I saw that a couple of weeks after Christian Ehrhoff was reportedly negotiating with Columbus, he signed with LA, it made me laugh. LA is like a bad boy with the heart of gold who flirts by stealing Columbus's desserts of off Columbus's tray. Meanwhile, Columbus doesn't actually like the pudding cup that is Carter or Gaborik or Ehrhoff. They only put those on their tray for LA to steal, because they like LA or feel sorry for them or just to get rid of those desserts.

It could be a prison AU.
