#11 - Kopitar Prefers Amps That Go to Eleven

i feel like it would be such a happy arranged marriage au. very minimal angst and just a lot of happy ovi!

NA I don't know. I could also see Nicky being a little resentful at the arrangement and being won over slowly by Ovi's...everything. Sort of like in that a/b/o fic where Nick had no interest in letting a team member help him through his heats because that's not how they did it in Sweden.

But non-angsty arranged marriage fic would be good too. I want more Ovi/Nicky fic in general, but especially arranged marriage because it's just so perfect for them given their playing circumstances.

Well, I can find the angst in anything. I think it could be somewhat lowkey, because both of them would be trying to make things work, but I could see one of them thinking this a business arrangement and they will be friendly, but they're not looking to love this person the team chose for them. They can both continue to see other people, etc. And the other person was hoping for something different. I could see clashing because of different cultures and them not being very fluent in their common language to start. I could see nerves on both sides. I could see not knowing how to be around one another because they're strangers with very different personalities. Nicky didn't play on the same line as Ovi right away, either.

I feel like there's plenty of potential angst, really. (And also happy Ovi.)
