I have seen him play recently and with limited usage I don't think he's worse than Scuderi. Scuderi's cap hit also means he has to play every night for it to be worth it, whilst you could sit Gonch easily. If Scuderi stays, I'm obviously against a Gonch signing but I don't have a problem with him replacing Scuds.

And if he ends up worse, you don't have to play him or you can demote him. He's said he's willing to sign cheap so it would be a low risk move.

That's good to hear. I still doubt they manage to get rid of Scuderi with his high cap hit and NM clause
