This is the eleventh post of Deke Dangle RPF Anon, a community for all your ice hockey anon meme needs.

THE RULES

1. Mods retain the right to delete, freeze, and/or screen threads and comments.

yeah I just worry once they start playing for their teams, in different conferences, that will be it.

I hope not! Partially because the media has already spent over a year pitting them against each other. There's a good chance they'll be on the same team at the World Cup of Hockey too.

Did you see the rookie showcase stuff? It was cute.

NA It's not my favorite 2015 draft class ship but I enjoy them, the dynamic is really interesting to me. I'm sure they'll still be linked, at least in their rookie season.

AYRT Thinking about it now I'm actually pretty open to shipping any of the top 5 picks with each other, any of those permutations would be interesting to me. McDavid/Strome is my favorite though, because I'm a sucker for the BFFs to lovers trope. (I also enjoy the idea of McD/Strome/Marner and McD/Strome/Eichel.)

I also have a favorite, but I like all the possibilities. I'll most likely read any combination that gets posted! (Especially McDavid/Eichel/Hanifin).

AYRT There are so many things to explore! Everything is untread ground :) That OT3 is intriguing too, though now I'm thinking about Eichel/Hanifin fic set during the last season... someone with a better understanding of NCAA hockey and the Boston schools in particular should write this.

Unfortunately the only thing I know is that BU and BC are rivals, and that they trained together. McDavid and Hanifin also have the same agent and have known each other for several years. But someone should definitely write it!

AYRT Haha, I was just thinking about that interview from yesterday where he was like, "Every day, me and Noah," and I was like 🔍👀 tell me more, Jack.

Aw, I like that McDavid/Hanifin connection. Noah seems like such a chill guy, but I guess in comparison to Jack a lot of people would be.
