Toni linked to Jen's tweet promoting the series (and the fact that they were all women) and said something like "And they were all mostly straight white women, I'm not throwing a parade here".

Okay, THAT is where "Go back to Tumblr" is the only appropriate response. Gross. >:(

WTF does that even mean? If you are "mostly straight," you don't get to have expanded representation in sports media? "You must be this queer to write this piece on hockey." Good grief.

If they were all queer women, she'd be complaining they were white. If they were all POC queer women, she'd be complaining they weren't disabled. It's complaining all the way down.

The grossest part was when she started speculating about who didn't fit the white/straight model, assuming race and sexuality would be clear from a person's twitter account.
