Re: Player Lives and Random Gossip
From: (Anonymous)There was a good article that went with that story, too. Potentially helpful to anyone who wants to write bb Ovi someday:
http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2006/11/21/AR2006112101807.html
(It opens with a weird description of his then-gf. Fair warning on that one.)

From: (Anonymous)I knew about his nose being broken four times (yes, all hockey related), I just didn't realize they'd all already happened by that early time in his career. I do believe at that point he still had all his teeth. The iconic Ovi missing tooth happened in the season he's preparing for in this article.

From: (Anonymous)The stuff about Tatiana is fascinating! I knew the basics, but not how she fell in love with basketball or the details of how hard she worked or how it was all rooted in a determination to never be weak again. She's a formidable and fascinating woman. And I liked reading about how she protected Ovi from the more cutthroat aspects of the business when he was still a teenager. Wise choice of agent, dude!
I also saw some of Mikhail in Ovi, in the sentence about why Tatiana fell for Mikhail. Something about being outgoing and kind, I think? I was like aww, he is so a product of his parents.

From: (Anonymous)"I have to do it because fans must come to watch our game," Alex said earnestly.
Awwww, earnestbb!Ovi
