Where is poor Andre going to sit? Is he gonna have to pick one of them to snuggle with, while the other pretends he didn't want to snuggle anyway and tries to hide his hurt fee-fees?

Also, these three losers collectively make well into seven figures, but they still have that ping-pong table instead of a normal dining table, just kill me now.

To be honest, I've never quite seen the point of having a dining table. I always either eat at the kitchen counter or sitting in the living room on the computer/watching tv. I technically have a small dining table, but all it's really used for is being that place where I put my keys, my purse, and the mail. I'd get just as much use out something with storage in it next to the front door, but I don't have one of those. I have a cheap dining table. Hell, I'd have to move a ton of stuff just to put a plate on it.

At least their ping pong table is probably getting used.

Its use becomes clear when you have actual people to live with, anon.

Eh, the kitchen counter has three seats.

Now imagine that you live in a house where the counter has NO seats, as I think most people do. Now what?

NA my kitchen counter has no seats. I eat there standing up.

(To be fair, I also eat at the dining table when I have company. The dining table is a clear space and has chairs.)

DA - I used to just sit cross legged on the floor and put a cloth down, it works.

Not everyone likes eating on their knees (I hate it). Also if you don't live alone eating at the dining table is a way to get everyone looking at each other and maybe even talking to each other once a day. Also if you have friends who you like to have over to eat with. The kitchen counter is fine if you have no more than two friends and actually don't want to look at or talk to them while you eat, I guess, but also not everybody has a kitchen counter they can eat at?
