This is the eleventh post of Deke Dangle RPF Anon, a community for all your ice hockey anon meme needs.

THE RULES

Also, aohatsu? I really liked her name-on-the-wrist fic. /sigh

As long as checking usernames doesn't make you feel unhappy, no one is going to feel unhappy about it from what I can tell? I don't know why you're telling me to f off, but if I made you feel guilty for drawing a line in the sand, I'm sorry. People should take whatever precautions they feel best serve them, and surely it's no great loss to block someone you don't know well enough to be certain whether you'd be able to stand them or their posts.

Oh thank god. I felt like I'd wandered into bizarro!meme.

Not at all surprised at her kudos. I'm just a little baffled that neither she nor any of the big pro-Kane people has written any fic. I guess they aren't going to put their money where their mouth is (which is good. There is no need for PKane fic, but still, if they're so supportive shouldn't they do it more visibly?)

This fandom is not very prolific and it's been less than a month since the news broke. I wouldn't guarantee any of them would have come out with new fic in the interim whether or not anything happened.

I thought she and whoever wantedwere still working onthe 1988 challenge thing? Doesn't really make sense for her to not stop it fully while not participating herself.

I was in the 1988 challenge, and Madelyn called it off immediately after the news broke.

It was left up to people to decide for themselves if they wanted to keep working on their fic, or file the serial numbers off, or drop it like a hot rock; but the challenge itself is definitely off.

I associate aohatsu with wank, and I'm not sure why. It must be something from an old fandom, but fuck if I remember which one. Hikago, maybe?

I think there was at least some wank in this fandom about the "Jeff's Eric's soulmate and Eric ends up divorcing Tanya because of it (they may have already had at least one kid as well)" Jeff/Eric fic in their name-on-wrist series. Also I think they wrote one where Jeff gets pregnant as a rookie with Eric's kid and decides to have an abortion because he is definitely not ready to be a dad yet, although I don't remember that one being particularly wanked about.

I have no clue on possible wank in any other fandom.

The people digging their heels in on "OK to Kaner" will no doubt get some help from the justice system/Kane getting back on the ice. IDK. I think if he's in jail, that's one thing, but otherwise we'll see more of this.
