#16 – Luck Be a Ladd-y Tonight

This is the sixteenth post of Deke Dangle RPF Anon, a community for all your ice hockey anon meme needs.

THE RULES

Yeah, but then the very next thing he says is

"It's tough for us as an organization where we want to stand up and scream and say, 'The NHL is ready for a gay player,'" said Burke. "Because 1,000 percent in my heart I believe that. I know that the first player who comes out is going to have a positive coming-out experience."

It makes it sound like he thinks the only hurdle is getting the players to believe that coming out will be great and not at all a long, shitty experience. Like the problem is their perception, not the reality of the situation.

Honestly, fuck him for saying that. He won't be the one dealing with all the tweets and articles and sly comments on the ice and in the locker room. Straight people, I swear to god.
