#16 – Luck Be a Ladd-y Tonight

This is the sixteenth post of Deke Dangle RPF Anon, a community for all your ice hockey anon meme needs.

THE RULES

"More consistent with innocence than with guilt" sounds like it is favor of Kane.

Sure, but actually, evidence that's in favor of one party over another is not at all remotely the same thing as evidence that someone has committed the crime of false reporting. This is legal system 101 stuff. Please google.

Evidence like her DNA not being on the sheets is negative evidence, in that it's more consistent with innocence, but doesn't prove innocence, and is definitely not evidence of false reporting.

It's impossible to prove a negative. Impossible. The way things get decided is that you prove something else happened.

The fool proof method of being absolved of one crime, as my law professor says, is being caught for another crime somewhere else.

This immediately makes me think of BBC Sherlock and Angelo, who was acquitted of a double murder because he was robbing a house somewhere else.
