#16 – Luck Be a Ladd-y Tonight

+1 on Seabrook. They did live together in the beginning, so I could see that causing laxer boundaries on personal space later on. (And tbh fics where Kane is at Toews' place regularly without bothering to ask are no more realistic than if you sub in any other player who's been on the team for a while.) And no offense to the guy, but he does read as a little clueless.

Seabrook-supporters: Yes I was thinking Seabrook would work for what I need the character to do! Hanging out at your friend's place is almost definitely not a Real Thing that Happens in Hockey but most of this fic relied heavily on established tropes so now I'm muddling through trying to make it still believably on the planet earth lol. Thanks for the help :)

To be fair, hockey players are weird as shit. Something like one player deciding to hang out in another player's house without them there wouldn't take me out of the fic as long as the two players knew each other relatively well.
