Well, she reblogged the aohatsu post pretty quickly to say she was excited about it, but I wouldn't have been surprised even if she hadn't done that. She hasn't said anything quite as bad as the truly horrible fans, but it's been clear for a while that she really desperately wants to continue on with the K/T status quo and have it Be (or at least Look) Okay.

Honestly, that's the bit that irritates me. They don't just want to keep writing and celebrating Kane. They want it to be okay to do that. They want to still be good feminists, and they don't want to hear any criticism or disapproval.

It's the old clash of principles with personal interest; there's always people who want it both ways, and their cry is always that this is a special case. See also "one of the good ones" and "The only ethical abortion is my abortion" and even "my favourite player would never be dirty so that was an accident".
