#18 – If you owned a bar, how cheap would your shots be?

This is the eighteenth post of Deke Dangle RPF Anon, a community for all your ice hockey anon meme needs.

THE RULES

Their dynamic squicks me out and I find the combo of personalities to be like mayonnaise on bread. Malkin isn't any prettier than MacKinnon (and MacKinnon isn't uglier than some other potential pairings) but he doesn't seem to have any good angles at all. And the second hand embarrasent from their commercial shoots over the summer was more than I could bear.

See like this seems fair and even as someone who likes MacKinnon I'd rather see people drag his mayonnaise personality then endless vague whining honestly.

The boring factor is the main reason I avoid Sid/Nate in particular. Sid is pretty dull, and MacKinnon is somehow even more dull (and I don't find anything about him attractive). The two of them together does nothing for me on any level.

Although, to be fair, the only reason I read Sid/Geno is because I find Geno so interesting, so take my opinion with a grain of salt.

Oh man, what I wouldn't give for a docu-style close-up on Geno's life like we got of Sid this year. Ideally in English, obviously! I know it'd never happen, but I waaaaant it.

I want it too! Sid's was for his tenth year in the league, and the next season will be Geno's sixth, so hopefully he gets one. We should let Jen the PR lady know lol.

He really is. Just seems to have so much personality, and always seems to be doing something different. A lot of joie de vivre.

And honestly, I find his background interesting as well. At least from what has been published about it, it seems to have been fairly disadvantaged until he was supporting his family playing hockey. Definitely different than the more comfortable backgrounds that seem more common in the NHL.
